Tenley got a crayola magic light brush for Christmas and she's been asking us to open it for her. Well today was her lucky day! This thing is pretty cool and Tenley had fun with it too! Thanks Aunt Barb!!

Lazy Sunday
After a few crazy weeks we needed a day to recuperate~ I gave Layna a bath this morning and she just looked too darn cute I had to take a picture of her all wrapped up in her hooded towel. She is such a happy baby!

Happy New Year!
We had some friends over for New Year's Eve. Tenley was going strong and determined to stay up for the ball drop. She made it! She was in bed fast asleep shortly after midnight, lol. Obviously Layna is missing from the picture, she was asleep at her normal bedtime. Maybe she'll make it next year!
Trying Something New
OK, so I'm new at this and I don't know how it's going to go but I'll give it a try. I've heard of bloggers taking a picture a day for an entire year. Realistically, that's not going to happen, lol. I decided to make my own modifications and I'm going to try to take at least one picture of our family a week. The picture can be the girls by themselves, with each other, with Todd, with me or anyone else. I just want to capture the year 2009 in pictures. I'm going to have to try really hard to make sure I get in a couple of the pictures because that rarely happens, I'm usually the one behind the camera. I thought this would be nice too for our family members who are out of town. Now you can still see what's going on in our life even from miles away. I hope you enjoy!!
